Representatives of the U.S. Federal government agencies expressed their interest to a new cyber intelligence platform recently unveiled by IBM. A discussion on cyber security intelligence solutions has been held during the cyber security workshop that took place on March, 1 – 2, 2012 in Arlington, VA. The workshop has been organized by CyberSecurityMarket.com and sponsored by Market Research Media Ltd. The leading analyst of Market Research Media has presented market studies covering fast growing U.S. Federal cyber security market:

Another topic of the workshop was rapidly emerging cyber warfare segment, little known until the Stuxnet affair. A new type of cyber warfare Stuxnet specifically targets computer systems that control electricity, water treatment, nuclear and chemical plants, pipelines, communications networks, transportation systems and other critical infrastructure, and it is unique in its complexity, flexibility, and resilience. Neither its creator nor its target is known. Stuxnet was called a “game changer” at a hearing of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on the implications of the recently discovered malware potentially far more destructive than any previously known cyber threat.
