A new report Quantum Computing Market Forecast 2015-2020 says that the quantum computing race has already begun. The stakes are high and getting higher:

- Quantum computing may affect almost every aspect of human life.
Quantum cryptography is already established market segment. Governments pour money in R&D to build the physical device enabling quantum computing. Two market segments are on the verge of fast growth – quantum computing simulation and quantum computing programming infrastructure. The year 2011 has seen D-Wave/Lockheed Martin deal and several breakthroughs in cloud computing technology. The market is already there, concludes the report.
